[Controversial Issues]

Birth control/abortion: I don't agree with birth control being a problem solver to pregnancy, mostly because it can cause ovaries cancer. A close friend of my moms had taken birth control for quite sometime, and eventually stopped... But it took her 5 years to get pregnant. As for abortion I am strongly against it. I believe if you get pregnant and you, yourself cannot maintain a healthy lifestyle, then I think your child will end up the same way...Yet you have to deal with the mistake that you've made and have your child. I believe the best way to solve it, would be to give it up for adoption so your baby could have a better life.

Death penalty: For it. If you've taken the life of someone else, then it should be done the same for you.

Religion: Go for what you believe in, yet I don't think its right for other people to "advertise" their religion to other people. Religion is a belief, not a propaganda.

Homosexuality: Everyone needs love, and deserves to beloved. Even if that means you are a male, and you find love in another male. I think at one point or another people are going to be attracted to the same sex...even if it’s just a little thing, or a strong belief. So I'm definitely for homosexuality.

Government: I don't agree with a lot of decisions the government makes. Although, I always think that whatever the decisions are made, they're made for the better, even if its going to cause some conflict, it will eventually create some good in our country.

USA: I've heard people say USA has not culture. But, look at us... We have combined millions of people of different races, backgrounds, cultures...I definitely agree that we have variation of different cultures. To some of us, I think we've opened our minds a little bit more to see what’s out there and try new things. Some of those things... we've made into our own.

Racism: Everyone says "oh I think racism is for ignorant people." I definitely agree with that, yet everyone has, at one point or another, said a racist remark or a racist joke. Not everyone is going to dance around in a field joining hand-and-hand with a person of the opposite race.

Socio-economic classes: haha what can I say.. Just look at California’s social economic class. It's slowly deteriorating and no one is doing anything to make it better. Prices are being raised higher and higher...Everyone is jumping way too fast by raising prices, on gas, clothing, food, etc.

Immigration: If they do their part in this country, then I see no problem!

Make us laugh:
A girl asks her boyfriend to come over Friday night and have
dinner with her parents. Since this is such a big event, the
girl announces to her boyfriend that after dinner, she would
like to go out and make love for the first time.

Well, the boy is ecstatic, but he has never had sex before, so
he takes a trip to the pharmacist to get some condoms. The
pharmacist helps the boy for about an hour. He tells the boy
everything there is to know about condoms and sex.

At the register, the pharmacist asks the boy how many condoms
he'd like to buy, a 3-pack, 10-pack, or family pack. The boy
insists on the family pack because he thinks he will be rather
busy, it being his first time and all.

That night, the boy shows up at the girl's parents house and
meets his girlfriend at the door. "Oh, I'm so excited for you to
meet my parents, come on in!"

The boy goes inside and is taken to the dinner table where the
girl's parents are seated. The boy quickly offers to say grace
and bows his head.

A minute passes, and the boy is still deep in prayer, with his
head down.

10 minutes pass, and still no movement from the boy.

Finally, after 20 minutes with his head down, the girlfriend
leans over and whispers to the boyfriend, "I had no idea you
were this religious."

The boy turns, and whispers back, "I had no idea your father was
a pharmacist."

hahaha nice story :)

and clare said yes. so youre def cool :)
xoxo
hehe why thank you! :D
because you're against the abortion and for the death penalty. If you don't like killin babies, why do you like killin adults?
There is a big difference between abortion and the death penalty. First off.. the reason why I am against abortion is because I don't think babies should be punished for a small mistake their mothers have made..Secondly, the death penalty are for those who have taken the lives of someone else. Don't you think if someone kills an innocent person, they should be executed too? Life isn't fair.

there is a big difference.
so what happens if someone is wrongly convicted, we execute the judge, jurors, and prosecutor?

murder is murder.
I was referring to those who were guilty. not the ones who were 'wrongly convicted.' Most of the time thats a 1 out of 10 chance that they're wrongly convited.

lol I don't want to argue
so thank you anyways.
cool so theres a 10% chance that people are being wrongly killed. so we abort 1 in 10 babies and thats cool? wait, abortion rates aren't nearly that high.

haha merci!
im not quite for the against abortion and for the death penalty thing. i dont understand that part.. and this..

"USA: I've heard people say USA has not culture. But, look at us... We have combined millions of people of different races, backgrounds, cultures...I definitely agree that we have variation of different cultures. To some of us, I think we've opened our minds a little bit more to see what’s out there and try new things. Some of those things... we've made into our own."

if you look back in the 80s and see how the textbooks described our country they called it a "melting pot" because of how all the cultures together formed one culture. your opinion on the US (to me) is totally outdated. now, if you read any sociology book you will see how they talk about that the US is no longer a melting pot, but a salad bowl..because now..everyone stays in cliques and doesnt mix with each other. i dont understand how you can say that america has a culture of its own..when it doesnt. it has millions of little cultures..that stay that way. they dont form a big culture anymore.

also ..
"Immigration: If they do their part in this country, then I see no problem!"

think about it. in ten years the english language wont even exist in this country due to the massive amount of illegal immigrants from mexico that are coming in. everything is already half spanish. this also goes with my "salad bowl" statement. in the 80s and stuff when immigrants started coming in this country - legal or not - they learned english and learned how to do things the AMERICAN way. now they arent even bothering to learn english because they dont need to. children in public schools dont need to learn english becuase they have spanish classes now. i mean, think about it. they arent bothering to change now..meaning eventually our country will turn out just like theirs..and then we will be the ones fleeing due to the economy's fall into the neverending pit of death.

but you do listen to good music and you want to go into graphic design. those are some things the touched my soft side.
When I said if they're doing their part in this country, I meant exactly what you stated... If they learn things the "American" way, and give to the society which will help not only them, but us then we won't be the ones fleeing due to the economy's fall.

I was just tired, and didn't feel like going into full out explanation.

but thank you anyways.
